Evacuating off Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom 4/2/08

So after getting halfway through the jerky ride at Animal Kingdom, it came to a halt and the lights all went on. We sat there for about 10 minutes until they came over the loud speakers saying "Due to Technical Difficulties your ride has been suspended. Please wait for authorized personnel to escort you out safely" Seeing as I had my camera, I recorded our adventure. It's a little dark but it was really cool to see everything with the lights on. "Maybe if this had happened at age 7 I wouldn't have been so scared"

Wow! =] I didn't even know I had an accent. Thank you though! lol. And Thank you for saying I was brave to film it. I thought it would be rather interesting for everyone to see one of the scarier rides as a walk-through, and not a jerk-through so to speak. lol.

BTW, My dad works in Marketing, so we go to Disney rather often. I've been on this a few times afterward with no problem. I suppose that an evacuation is rare. But I have full respect for all the cast members, especially my daddy. ;)

Uhh..yeah. If the whole ride was dark and the dinos were still going, I definitley would not be filming. hahah. I'd be too busy screaming. lol.

Ugh I know. They really should try to fix it up a little. It's supposed to be jerky, but if its to the point that its breaking down, they should do something about it. Especially seeing as its Disney World.

Are you talking about the CM? She has to direct the people, if someone gets hurt it will be her fault so she must keep everyone together. It's her job, people employed by Disney have strict directions when it comes to things like this. If your talking about the other girl, however, heh, I agree (ok, I'm babbling now)

@caa1000 Actually, the ride is quite lit up when they lights are on, as they were in this instance. But with all the scenery around it's a bit difficult to make it very bright. When seen through a camera however, it doesn't appear that bright. I used to work there and can vouch for it being more then bright enough for you to see everything. Only the areas behind the bushes/scenery is darker because there's really no need to light that area because no guest goes there.

I have noticed some techincal stuff latley,like the dinosuar* who chases you,doesnt move anymore.
