  • even in genesis 22:8, Jesus is prophesied-

and Abraham said,My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

  • thedumbdummy

This is a fantastic example of how the religious mind can take almost any piece of OT text and force it into a prophesy about Jesus. The passage in total provides a sacrifice in the form of the ram caught in a thicket. Abraham goes to the mountain fully expecting to have to kill and offer his son, lies to him (ususally considered a sin) and god then connives with the lie by providing a ram as the sacrifice. Not presented as a prophesy for any future event - no relevance to Jesus

  • Jesus said Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. Thats how u get into heaven

  • The point is that Jesus said loads of things about getting into heaven - many of which are contradictory, many of which are totally ignored by +ians. Of course, if you read the comments above and the bibble you would know this

  • The Bible contains health laws for the people of Israel who had been slaves in Egypt for several generations..

There are also ceremonial laws that God gave to Moses. These were pointing forward to Jesus' sacrifice and helping them understand a substitute sacrifice for sin.

  • Where does it say anything in Deuteronomy or Leviticus about the law being a way of helping understand a substiture sacrifice for sin. Come on!

    Ta muchly,

Yes it is always astounding to me how these people as well meaning as they think they are don't read the Bible. They ust get swept up by and trot out the generic properganda and rhetoric provided by there particular version of the cult.

They don't read any science or ask questions.

Look for my nect post as a general comment at the top a good question in it.

  • I have asked God and he spoke to me revealing his mighty secrets.

He told me Satan sent Jesus as a false prophet to confuse people and cause a new church to rise. He said his chosen people the Jew's were right and the saviour is still to come. Thes things are written in the bible but only revealed to the true followers of God, that false prophets will come and do wonders in Gods name but do not be fooled. Do you doubt the word of God, then you must be under satans spell by his agent Jesus.

Please don't pray for me it is insulting, not to mention prayer has not shown to deliver anything above statistical luck. Though the only proper study did show marginally negative results and surprised everyone. They are trying to work out why.

I realise you hit rock bottom, so a trauma is why you seperated from reality. This is a common reason but to me not a good one to give up on reality for false promises.

Never give up who you are thats fake.

  • @TheImmortalTree

Jesus, was as far as the Bible exposes, a drunk promoter of hate.

Your Delusions do not convince me at all.

I have walked that road and read the Bible. Nasty piece work of fiction.

  • @TheImmortalTree

You are right on the money there, maybe you start to see the picture.

Group dynamics, follow the crowd, mass psychology at work. The comparison made between religious worship, rock concerts and the large Nazi propaganda events like the Nuremberg Rally are uncanny but not surprising.

  • @TheImmortalTree ok, let me clarify on the rock star comment. I meant that worship is in our blood, not that worshipping rock stars is godly, cause that is idolatry. I meant, that it is a god given desire he placed in us to worship Him and that in the rockstar worshipping scenario its just been twisted into something ungodly. The devil can only counterfeit things that are God created. That is an example of that.

  • @VideoAudioDisco09 I love you brother and I bless you in Jesus name. I pray blessings on you and I pray that you have an encounter with the true living God- that you will know the love of God that passes mere knowledge. God uses foolish things to confound the wise. God will offend your intellect to get to your heart. And it took me finally hitting rock bottom to sincerely even WANT him. But now I know him personally and its AMAZING. It goes beyond a book. Its out of this world literally ;)

  • @VideoAudioDisco09 Jesus was perfect and did no evil. The religious zealots actually KILLED him. They were called Pharisees. Jesus was walking love. Don't judge christianity on bad examples of Jesus. Read for yourself. And about the bible being wrong. The creator of the Universe- my best friend and Father- well, he is A GENIUS He is amazing and he has proven and shown me through my own life how outside of time he is. The Creator of the universe knows how to get what he wants in a book ;)

  • LOL i was a cultist how retarded

  • @VideoAudioDisco09 nice "get well soon" lol humanity is so fucked if people think the magic, giant, bearded, sky daddy is going to save us
