Someone's got to keep it up, that genre (I guess you'd call it Queercore?) needs to be nurtured, it would be a true shame to loose one of the truly great both comedic and dramatic genres just after it was so wonderfully articulated by Mr. Waters. I personally didn't like the softcore version of this movie at all, but I definitely love the hardcore/explicit version the best!!! I love some of Bruce LaBruce's movies very much. One of my other favorites from him is Hustler White.
