I kinda listened to Korn back in the day but I wouldn't say I was a fan but I now exclusively listen to Dubstep and to figure this out it's simple...listen to ANY Dubstep song then listen to ANY Korn song and you will find that none of korns songs sound anything close to resembling a sound of Dubstep

Dubstep was started as a two step rythem with clips of vocals in britain. eventually it evolved with deep low "wabs" witch in england they call brostep, so if you say you listen to dubstep over there but really you're talking about brostep, they'll call you a poser. So unfortunatley, no, they did not invent dubstep, they could've been the seed for brostep though. either way, they kick ass.
