Cartoons are defined as western animation while anime is japanese animation. Saying the two are the same is like saying ice cream and puding is the same; they may both be desserts and roughly the same key ingredients, but are vastly different.

You're just sad and pissed cause you know you've lost the argument the moment you posted your first post.

You've obviously never seen anime like Air, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien and Saikano.

The last two are particularily beautiful love stories that far surpasses many of the best of today. They're both original and gives you a sense of reality, despite the latter also being partly mecha

You see, while you may have watched a fair amount of anime, if you say something like that its only good for prevy stuff and gore, then you're far too unqualified to make such a statement.
