Laura Marling with Marcus Mumford (playing banjo!) alas I cannot swim - philadelphia

Laura Marling played at Johnny Brendas in Philadelphia on May 15, 2010. Mumford & Sons had a show the next night at the TLA in Philadelphia. This seemed to be the only time the two tours intersected cities. So I guess Marcus came on over to hang out. He was in the audience for most of the show then jumped up and played banjo with Laura and the band. (Sorry it's dark but he's back there behind her) It was pretty great.

Marcus and laura separated in december 2010. He cheated on her ironicly with someone who looks similar to laura. No one can ever replace laura though! And he didnt write a whole album about the break up... Charlie fink did that after their breakup. I think laura wrote some of her new songs relating to marcus though. Like I Was An Eagle, and her "new rocky song." She plays them at concerts.
