To defeat Mega Tonbery i used Paine as Gunner with Cat Nip and Speed Bracer. Then i just atacked her sometimes to get Critical HP, and then with haste i did Trigger Happy :). Yuna was healing as an Alchemist and Rikku was in Berserker.

i jus got lucky cause i got cry in the night and i was lv 65 for yuna & rikku and lv 67 for paine i had 2 use the cat nip

wait! It's also Seymours overdrive when you fight as him in FFX. Never noticed that until i took a look at another video XD

say isn't Cry In The Night the same attack that you can get Rikku to do with her Mix overdrive in FFX when you mix two different items (the person who made the video for the overdrives never showed what items he mixed so i don't know which ones)

Haha, I hate that Mega Tonberry. I used the Cat Nip-trick... worked quite fine. Although I was too late to spherecharge the Gunner into a Gun Mage... Otherwise all of the characters would have learnt the ability on one try only.

This strategy works on all three characters at the same time, but I don't recommend it. Chances are MT will kill all three of the Gun Mages before one of them can sphere change back into the Dark Knight. So you'll end up spending time reoversouling another MT either way, but this way won't be from square one.

Oath Veil helps a lot... gives a nice boost on Magic Defence. Cry In The Night did lousy 500-600 damage. (Oh, I was on lvl. 99 as well.)

It's not his magic that will kill a level 99 Gun Mage, it's the Chef's Knife. The Gun Mage doesn't stand a chance against it (as you saw with Yuna), but the Dark Knight does because you can max out the physical defense. I guess you can chance him only using magic attacks, but I think that's a fool's bet.

Defeat several Tonnberrys. I can't remember the exact number (10-12?). Anyway, save your game after fighting each one. That way you can just reset your game file if the Tonnberry oversouls instead of the Mega Tonnberry.
