Warp Stabilizer AE CS5.5 test

New warp stabilizer in After Effects CS 5.5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsuvUzjdbTk

I did this test with Canon 5D mark II. To be able to see details and some image distortions watch in HD 1080p/full screen. I pressed this plugin to the max :) It seams that you cannot use this plugin instead of steadycam (although you can try :), but very often it will save the shot. Actualy if you know how, you can use some of its image destrotions to achive special artistic expression (some sort of strangness in the image, it could looks very interesting for some specific cases). Overall I'm very pleased with new warp stabilizer plugin capabilities. Thank you very much people from Adobe :)

Most cases it is a pretty extreme scenario. But when you just walk steadily it seems to give great results! Like at 2:12 with the woman walking and facing the camera. Sweet tool. Of course it wont replace any stedycam but it sure will help ALOT!

Nice, if you don't know the source file, you would think that the final footage is perfect. You just need to save some space while filming for cropping area and that's it! This feature will save life's and a lot of time to many peoples, although it was possible to have this effect in other methods with CS4 & CS5.
