From lasercd.com:
"Rikard Sjoblom is the mastermind behind a number of bands including Beardfish and Bootcut. He is also an incredibly talented multi-instrumentalist. Cyklonmannen is an instrumental musical interpretation of the novel by Sture Dahlstrom. For all practical purposes this is actually two discs in one. The first half of the CD was recorded in 2003 and features Rikard performing on all instruments. Musically it's very much in the 70s Scandinavian vein. Primarily I'm reminded of Bo Hansson's work but at times a bit more uptempo. Definitely very prog and with that classic sound. Rikard decided to perform this material live, so in 2004 he put together a band called Den Gyllene Orkestern (The Golden Orchestra). The second half of the disc features the same material but within a live context. You will decide which version is better since I think they are both great. Highest recommendation."
These videos (Parts 1-9) present the album's nine "studio version" tracks in their entity as well as the (bonus) live version from the CD that was recorded in 2004 with Den Gyllene Orkestern (The Golden Orchestra) consisting of Rikard's fellow Beardfish member Robert Hansen on bass, Bootcut member Petter Diamant on drums, Per Nilsson from Scar Symmetry on guitar, Sofie Lindgren on tenor sax, Tobias Wiklund on trumpet, an intro narrated by Lena Mattsson and Rikard Sjöblom on keyboards.
The cd (cat: jsm004) contains both versions and is available from:
