but all we see is far in the past... we cant see the actual universe... also, what is causing the moon to leave and kill us due to changing the climate? anybody have a real intelligent answer? not an obvious smartass idiot reply?

@akpcSAIN Im pretty sure its cosmological constant aka vacuum energy that causes the universe to expand. The dark energy is simply what accounts for the fact that galaxies hold themselves together. From the mass we can measure they should fly apart so there must be some unseen mass that holds them together and there must be a lot of it. Thats dark matter.

This was a very interesting video. And I have a few questions.
What evidence is there that actually links dark energy and the apparent acceleration of space expansion? The "gravity" causing deceleration of space expansion also wasn't clearly stated. And how do you propose that dark energy causes the acceleration of space expansion?
Lastly, is there some relationship between matter and anti matter (which may or may not be dark matter) that fixes galaxies to space whilst it expands?

Agreed.

No, it doesn't. Why don't you just watch the video?

does this have anything to do with the moon leaving its orbit?
I love that UC posts this stuff. I hope it continues forever

"The Inflationary Universe" by Alan Guth is quite comprehensive, but contains little in the way of revelation.
