  • There is a lot of F-15s flying over us in Wales, its it Training from other countries or do the RAF have plans on ordering them?

  • @varlb002 The F15s are permanently stationed at RAF Lakenheath, they are American and Lakenheath is run by the Americans. The RAF have no plans to buy the F15.

  • Love the video! Can I ask though, did you camp out there for a while before anything came through or did you know they were going to be there? I really want to go there one day!

  • We didn't camp out there it was a day visit, just pot luck. The only thing that stops them flying is really poor visibility. Get there early though if you want to visit.

  • Is this the Blwch exit or all the way at the top of the mountain?

  • It was the spot above and right of the car park. We were about three quarters of the way up the hill.

  • Those Hawks make a fantastic whistling noise. The air pressure must be immense on the windshield.

  • @berry123100 i thought lakenheath was a USAF base because my cadet squadron is visiting there and i was told they were american

  • Are they flying like that every day ??

  • Lakenheath!!! I was based there when the F-111F's were there. I can't help but wonder if the 111's ever flew through the mach loop?
