Hong Kong Movie Studios IDEvolution - Golden Harvest

Golden Harvest was established in 1970, and is probably the second long-lasting Hong Kong studio next to Shaw Brothers. It is unfortunate to see Raymond Chow steps down from it, thus a sweet and bitter evolution.

I remember there was a logo with the 4 blocks in silver in a blue oval, using the same music as the original.

Not sure if you're talking about Golden Harvest Home Entertainment (ident for its videos), which had the big G in gold color inscribed into a blue TV-screen-shaped background.

i prefer the most common golden harvest logo. that theme music is also used by "nerd world" cinema in the philippines.

GH return in 2010 has the new logo which is the 3D CGI version of the former big G logo from 0:49.
