What kind of surgery did the yorkies have? Was it serious?

@TheYorkielover35 Hi, my boy had knee surgery. He was on strict, no activity, for 6 weeks. At week 5 I asked his surgeon if he could do some water therapy. He was ok'd for 5 min every other day.

Small dogs are more prone to having this issue. It is where the knee cap is not deep enough for the ball of the bone so the groove is deepend and or pins may be inserted depending on the severity. Fortuantely he did not need pins.

You obviously seem to think that this was all for fun. Had you bothered to read the description of the video, you would see that this was for physical therapy-which was ok'd by my dogs surgeon. I will trust his judgement on the the care and treatment of my dog over you-Thank you very much. The therapy sessions were 5 mins every other day. I didn't just arbitrarily put my dogs in the hot tub for fun. So before you go off, you should know what the subject matter is about.

@hmstutzman - Thanks for the nice comment. :) Good luck with school. I hear that it can be hard but just think of all the wonderful animals you will meet will be able to help. My niece just started vet school. She loves animals and hopefully she'll be able to give me some advice from time to time.

omg I hope that the poor little baby boys doing better :) I have a papillon puppy and he watched this video and befor he didn't like the tub then he watched it and now he likes it xD I hope Maggie May is doing well too :)

Very cute. Your boy reminds me of my little baby, Ozzy only he is a little bigger than yours. He HATES being in the water but my mom's Yorkie loves it. He would love it if he got to do this. They have a kiddies pool in the yard for the other dogs and he plays in it all the time.
