*Note To YouTube: If the vintage 8mm film in this production is deemed as being "inappropriate" please note that even during her time, Betty Peters was recognized as a American art icon who's nude art and filmwork paralleled that of Marylyn Monroe and is accepted as being historical and classic American art. I have seen other topless vintage art videos on YouTube and can only hope that my offering is honored with the same respect as theirs. Even so, I have gone even further (however painfully) in making this production more YouTube Community-friendly by adding an ever subtle blur to Miss Peter's breasts.
Not too long ago I found an interest in hunting rare 8mm films on eBay and came across this 200' film from 1960 which came in a box titled "Betty Peters- Fishbowl 36-23-34". I knew from the item description that the film was of a woman by this name that that it was "pretty good stuff", but I wasn't nearly prepared for just "how good" it was.
I knew I wanted to cover the film but the task ended up becoming more daunting as I went along. Deaf and only able to play by ear/memory, it takes a very long time for me to master a song to any acceptable degree and the three I chose were monumental at that!
First thing is first though and I need to get it out of the way that since the great composer Basil Poledorius is no longer with us, I had no way of contacting him to obtain song permission for the use of his love theme from "The Blue Lagoon". I only (and so truthfully) intended it's use my own personal fan tribute to his musical passion. A topless woman swimming in a giant fishbowl on an 8mm film from 1960 could not have been matched better to any other song in my humble opinion. Maestro Poledorius, your legacy will live forever.
