I believe that when George wrote this song, he had no idea how popular and favored it would have become. After forty years it is still here, in our hearts, and who knows until when it will be alive.

@cristinamoldoveanu - My god, these simple minded posts here on YouTube. What do they mean? George's songs don't mend ANYTHING. The Beatles might have had that effect on people but not George's music. Much of George's music is awkward and rinky-dink. While this song is better than most of his others, it's still a George Harrison song. Like finger-nails on the chalkboard!
