One of the reasons for a stronger dollar is that other currencies in the world are falling faster than the dollar thereby giving the illusion of a stronger dollar. Most other countries, except for maybe China and India, are far more leveraged in the credit / equity markets than we are. Most semi-precious metals crashed mainly because China stopped buying our scrap salvage metals. We are in a classic "deflation, then government over stimulating the economy, then comes inflation" cycle.

If the Big 3 go under, there will still be an auto industry in the US because foreign automakers have factories in the US that use American-made parts. We just won't have corvettes or cadillacs.

You obviously would have to cash in and redeploy the wealth before the crash. There are two crashes...I will explain them in the future. My next video will be about citi.
