This video is very important to me. Many women loose hair when the remove braids because they are impatient. Follow these steps and have a sucessful detangling

  • I lost some hair too detangling this way but I finally found out today that you lose much less (almost none) when you wet the buidup first and use your nails to flatten it a little by scratching (not pulling)it. After the buildup seems to have loosened itself from the strands, then you can start your proceedure of removing a few strands at a time. IT WORKS!

  • thank you for the video I'm going to use your tips and purchase some the Take down remover #wishmeluck as I detest buildup and wind up pulling out my hair in frustration.. thanks again!!!

  • Great video-build up with braids and weaves is real. But we are not supposed to loose clumps of hair-natural hair is even stronger than relaxed hair. Water based products do not work effectively.

The Take Down Remover is the best braid remover. it detangles dreadlocks-so it can soften any type of build up...you DO NOT have to pay any price. Your hair is precious.

  • Thank you! I was flipping out with my first micro take down and now I'm going to take my time tonight to detangle properly...peace

  • Lady all you needed to do was to put the Take Down Remover cream on your hair first. the cream takes out dreadlocks without hair loss. It really softens hair.Never use a water based product to remove braids. they can make the hair tangle and matt at the roots. The Take Down Remover can save your hair even if your braids have been in for 6months toooooo long. And you never have to "pay the price eventually" to lose your beautiful natural hair. That is the biggest faux pas with black women.

  • I wet my head 10 - 15 minutes before removing mine. It works better than conditioner for me.
