More than half the world's megacities are in Asia. The South Korean capital of Seoul is one such megalopolis, home to over 10 million people.
Because space is tight, the buildings reach to the sky. Seoul has the most skyscrapers of any city in southeast Asia. It is home to a quarter of the country's population. The city government is trying to maintain and expand the city's parks. Today the city has only 5 square meters of green space per inhabitant. Daily life in this ocean of steel, concrete truly requires strong nerves.
no wonder koreans are so aggro

It's not warm Southeast Asia, it's cold Northeast Asia. More like a 1/3 of South Korea lives in the Seoul area, including Gyeonggi province which is the burbs of Seoul.
I wondered how Koreans afford $40,000 deposits on their apartments. Work, work, work, work, work, and well life is just all work for so many as it's a highly competitive economy despite being robust and nationalistic. Many Koreans still work 7 days a week more than 8 hours per day. It must be depressing for young adults.
