Mercy Tree, Guatemala, Mayan women

Mercy Tree, a division of Proyecto Fe International, is a cottage industry located 7000 feet in the mountains of Guatemala. The Mayan women hand bead beautiful ornaments that are so elegant that they can be displayed throughout the year. One ball takes a whole day to make. When sold, they supply a family's food needs for two days. When we purchase these balls from the women and sell them for a donation in the U.S., the money returns back to Guatemala to help even more families meet their food, medical, school, and clothing needs.
