Radical Islam: Britain's huge problem

Christiane Amanpour investigates Britain's huge problem: Radical Islam. She interviews Ed Husain, a former recruiter of Hizb-ut-Tahrir who left the organisation after witnessing an Islamic murder of a Christian - stabbed in the heart - during an Islamic rally on campus in which Muslim students were shouting "Allahu Akbar" (Arabic: God is great).

The intolerant radical ideas of Islamic "scholar" Sayyid Qutb are taught openly in East London London, and a generation of young Muslims are being indoctrinated to use Islam to seize political power, and to wage war on unbelievers.

"We have realised that attacking the unbelievers in their territories is a collective duty [of the Muslims]" - Sayyid Qutb.

Muslims are taught to segregate themselves from British infidel society. Other ideas that are disseminated include that India is Muslim land that must one day be re-conquered by an Islamic Caliphate.

Amanpour then invertiews a spokesman from Hizb-ut-Tahrir, a radical Islamic organisation in Britain, who confirms that the organisation promotes the creation of an pan-Islamic empire governed by Islamic Sharia Law.
