@digitalintent true man but yknow what. When i was little i fukern loved the sequel...when i grew up i realised how it was a bit cheesy. The story is still epic though, written by roy thomas.

Truth of the matter was that they had planned to make a whole bunch of conan movies starring arnold, not just 2. But something had happened and only 2 were made.

Destroyer is WAY better than the NEW CONAN but not quite as good as the original Barbarian! People complain the original (Milius, Arnie) film has very little to do with Robert e howard's Conan, but i still think its the best sword and sorcery movie ever made...the music, just like in Star Wars, makes up for 60%! And if u watch it in Spanish with a REAL CONAN voice u might even enjoy it more than with Arnies accent...still, Arnie has a cool accent cus Conan is a Cimmerian not an an American! xD

This movie is so cheesy. Such a let down after the amazing, and very underrated first epic. The kills in this movie are not nearly as satisfying as the first either. The Bombata fight is downright horrible compared to the two final battles with Rexor and Thorgrim.
