TV series about building the sailboat and sailing across the Atlantic.
VBlog #01 - Danny Klacko checks the sailboat.
Follow short video clips from filming "The Death & Life of Julius" - the 13 part documentary series about bringing one man's dream 'back to life'.
Over the next year and a half a group of friends, advisors and marine-shops will build a small sailboat for a 2008 sail across the Atlantic. The series will follow the building process from scratch, installing the hardware and the equipment, performing 'non-compromise' sea trials and ultimately sailing to Europe where the original boat builder left from over a half a century ago.
The series will be narrated by the godfather of world cruising, Jimmy Cornell.
Here you can follow the video-blog of the build.

"MOST" cannot build a hull capable of ocean crossing. He built airplanes ,do you build them in your backyard as well? The hull was not viable, this was seconded by a top yacht designer. Who you probably went to school with. Where were you when we were building the new hull? We could have used the help of an expert such as yourself. Build yourself another boat& head across the ocean at your earliest convience.Your language clearly dictates a educated man capable of building such a craft.

What the fuck are you talkin about? "Back yard boat builders don't even come close", what a dickhead you are. I am a backyard boat builder and have sailed my boat without being "blown out of the water" as you so arragantly put it. If you are not a ballheaded asshole you sure look like one in this video.
