A stop motion test I carried out with the Canon 550d.
The photographs were taken outdoors during the summer with the subject facing 90 degrees from the sun to achieve fill and hard light on the face. This was to bring a form of depth to the face but due to the background this was not fully achieved.
I shot in RAW and in colour so as to maintain further control over the final image. I then did the post photo edit in iPhoto, though I recommend Photoshop for extensive post photo editing.
Final images were then imported as TIFF into FCP 6 and then edited into a video sequence. If you would like me to post a video on editing stop motion in FCP then please request.
Capture settings
Camera: Canon 550D
Lens: Kit Lens (18-55mm)
Shutter Speed: 2000/s
Aperture: Approx: 12-16 stops
ISO: 200 (As far as I can recollect)
A little stop motion short on the physical and mental change of a person's ideals.
