@Anentity That's how I feel each time someone tells me their kid is in a so-called gifted and talented program at their public school. All they are is dull and ordinary.

@marymoro1981 Lol I see your comment is from a year ago but I wanted to point out that a savant is actually extremely rare. There are only around 50 living savants in the world. Autistic kids may display much talent in a skill, but not on the same level as a Savant.

amazing what really goes on in their heads

its like only upgrading one skill in a game :) kinda....

@jerrymonkey You don't need to be autistic to be a savant. Kim Peek, the original Rain Main, wasn't autistic.
-
@marymoro1981 sorry bud but ur a retard...pure autistic children are definitely not savants
-
severally challenged is not what you should be calling them.
Autism is not the same as a Savant. A Savant is a very very rare case in Autism.

If I hear one more person talking about who they are and what they do I'm gonna barf. No one cares about you, nor are you a savant or extremely gifted. What you are is extremely marginal at best with an overflowing feeling of inadequateness or worthlessness, in which you only prove by comparing yourselves to savants. You really are pathetic to all those no body's so desperate for selfesteem.
