A day in the life of a junkie...
This is the first of what I consider my "Student Films."
It was shot in Akron, Ohio in 2000 with a photographer friend of mine.
It was influenced by "Requiem For A Dream", "Pink Floyd's The Wall", "Jacob's Ladder" and "Eraserhead."
I learned how to use Avid while editing this, so it veers toward experimental at times.
That's me as the lead junkie.

Ok I dig the cinematography and the black and white. And also the feel of the film,which is dark and gloomy.That is def a good way to express the darkness of addiction. But other than that;I found it boring and nothing was really done correctly when it comes to the technical use of heroin and shooting up. It seems like u really don't know what it is to be a junky,but the idea is good!

If I remember correctly, there were much better drugs than heroin going around in 2000 in Akron, ha ha.

This shit is wacked if your going to make some stupid documentary about a junkie make sure you know what a junkie does and how she/he lives. The person who made this film was a complete moron. The music wasnt what you hear on heroin either this film is poor and inexperienced

that dude shot his drugs the wrong way, youre supposed to go towards the heart not away towards your hand. obviously this was made by someone who has never even seen heroin in their life. and when he was cooking he started boiling it that degrades all your dope and makes for a real shitty shot, you cook just until its dissolved. also the scene where hes trying to buy the dope at first but has no money and hes all twitchy and shit thats just so fucking cliched and the hollywood image of drugs.
