Jonas Straka Breitling Navitimer 806 -66

This is my Breitling Navitimer 806 from 1966
I sent the watch to Breitling Switzerland for a complete overhaul re-dail new hands and movement service
the result is stunning, like a new watch

Today the watch is used regularly at weekends or special days.
As my intention was to haw it like the first time i saw it as a kid (8 years old)
and to use it rather than let it rest in a safe, i decided to do this.

The overhaul was 9 month long, but as my hunt for this watch was several years longer it felt rather fast.

Outcome was spectacular and i assure it stays regularly on my wrist

some say its wrong to do this and other say it´s OK
i do not care as its my dream watch the other watches i own is not
overhaul like this to prevent the original patina

no problem. service was 1537:- US$ but my guess it's higher now

But my recommendation is to contact Mr Mark Heist at horological service as he recommends whats most worth in your case, that you not make it less worth after the service if value is crusual to you
