Lovers' Bridge

This is a love song I wrote for Taro and Margaret, the lead characters in my novel, Silver Hands. He is a young daimyo in Edo Period Japan and she is an English girl who falls into his country from a flying island. It is based around a magical night they spend in Taro's castle garden, under the stars, and the unspoken nature of their love.

I created the melody from the notes of the wind chime you can hear in the background, which makes a kind of pentatonic scale.
