Jessie played the mandolin for me on a recording session at Columbia Studios in Nashville. I was producing an album for a man who became wealthy in the strip mining business, and he wanted to do a bluegrass album using professional musicians. He also hired Jim and Jessie to play at a grand opening of a business of his. I only met Jim once, but had a long conversation wit Jessie after the recording session. Lloyd Green played on the same session.
