Oggi in difetto di veri soprani ci accorgiamo della pletora di voci eccellenti degli anni '50 - '60 - '70! In questi tempi di magra sarebbe una ECCELSA. Ne ho fin sopra i capelli di soprani russofoni e asiatici che, tecnica a parte quando la possiedono, hanno timbri meccanici e troppo spesso di testa acuti mal tenuti e di cartavelina.

No problem. Maestro Ferrara did not have the great international career he deserved, as he suffered from epilepsy; his main body of work was in the recording studio, especially for great Italian films with music by Nino Rota. Anna Moffo, who was a friend, told me that in her opinion Ferrara and Tullio Serafin were the greatest conductors with whom she ever collaborated.
