  • @collector2002 15,4 inch 1680 x 1050 resolution wich is god damm high for a 15,4 inch so basicly its almost HD

and the hardware is aot better and its more portable an alot lighter 15,4 inch for a laptop or 17 inch is more then enough i also have a high end desktop at home wich i build my self if i need more i use that my laptop is for on the go

  • I don't know why but the trends show that the ~15" is still the standard and there are many more smaller ones than bigger nowadays. Even the expensive ones have 13" instead of 17" or more. I'd prefer a bigger screen myself than a 13, 12, 11, or 10" screen just to fit my pocket or the battery to last longer for an high price. Small ones should cost less like the eeepc and the Samsung's NB. And the tiny sony one's?? What a ripoff they are!!!

  • @menno112

WOw big deal as there are lot's of laptops with greater specs than this one. Even with that gfx card it doesn't make such a big difference in performance. Discussing tiny bits like u guys are doing i think it's a waste of time. I don't think this Acer Aspire 8920G should be so pricey compared to similar and with better specs laptops just because of a big display - 18,4 inches. Plus it comes with Vista (the one i've checked at least) which is not good at all comparing to a win7 one.

  • @ikukelas

What's the screen size? Is it a TFT Wide 18,4" like this one? I guess not...

  • Why does it have a higher number 8920G compared to my Aspire 7738G which is way more powerful with a

    intel core 2 Duo @ 2,3 Ghz

a GeforceGT 240M with 1 Gb of Memory

    4 GB DDR 2 Ram

512 GB HDD with 7200 rpm

  • i' vw got this laptop too. it has Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 2.50GHz (6MB cache),RAM 4 gb, HDD 2x 250GB SATA, Blu-Ray, DVB-T, nVidia GeForce 9500M GS 512MB do 1791MB. It is great!

  • i have the same with u dude! i have it 2 years and its still fat as hell!

  • I PWN YOU ALL!!

    MSI gx-620

    9600M GT
