The goal of the experiment was to better understand whether higher flows can be used to rebuild eroded beaches downstream of Glen Canyon Dam by moving sand accumulated in the riverbed onto sandbars. Grand Canyon sandbars provide habitat for wildlife, serve as camping beaches for recreationists, and supply sand needed to protect archaeological sites. http://www.usbr.gov/uc/feature/GC-hfe/index.html

  • This was a waste of time and resources. I did not ask you to be my steward of that of my forfathers. You are just big headed idiots who want to tell others how to live. Shame on you.

  • Can I Jump on the water jet and have it push me out lol

  • The universal law of supply. Whenever we hold on to any resource - we become impoverished.

The river has to flow to its delta once more. As does any resource so that everyone and everything living thing can benefit from it - not just some.

Holding onto this water will guarantee the river dries up. We have to realize that this planet has spiritual laws that actually rule over physical.

The Universal Law of Supply ensures that the generous and giving are enriched.

    God is love.
