I agree with you, megan! i think some school have to tell the student the truth that they need improving to learn new something for them than bs bs it sound like betray their back! know what i mean.

MSSD isnt only smart school! u make me laugh so hard!! depend on student who eager to learn. who fault? parent or teacher! not blame on kids. shame on you,

yep! i just wish that deaf schools would improve their system but at least it's better than 50 years ago. hm i never said anything about MSSD in my video?

I used to attend PEP/MSSD in 1990 and I noticed that MSSD students are very smart! So, not all deaf schools have this similar problem, so don't blame on deaf schools!

All MSSD students are 'very smart'? I dont think so cuz I know some students that went there and they were struggling so hard that MSSD had to hold em back for another year or two.

hey, not just deaf schools have students with learning problems. i go to MSSD and there are plenty of smart students. you cant just blame the deaf schools! sure, some students have problems with english, that's because they are so talented with ASL or their parent dont care about them. so dont blame the school for it.

no my point is that DEAF SCHOOL mislead parents into thinking their kids are going to success. You should watch the video carefully before making assumptions like that.

@MillingMusic not only..... There is a christian school for the Deaf in... Managua, Nicarauga called "Christian school for the deaf"... Even search it on youtube, if you don't believe me.

Im deaf and never went to either deaf institute or public school in my entire life. I have always gone to a private school called Harvest Christian Academy for the Deaf. They have very good education there. I get honor roll a lot...I am pretty smart, not to brag, you guys could notice, my grammar are very good unlike other most deaf people. But if anyone is interested about my school. . Its the first and only christain school for deaf. If are interested about my school then go to harvestdeaf.or

Purely nepotism is what I see here. Favoritism too much is what hurt deaf institutes. How embarassing for me to say that I am deaf and I approved the complete shutdown of all deaf institutes.

I do think that there needs to be more counseling in the schools. The transition from a Deaf school to a hearing college would be enough of a shock in itself. Kid's need to be better prepared for what it will really be like. I'm Deaf, but grew up hearing. I was lucky enough to have a good grasp of English before becoming Deaf. Hearing schools are hard-- and VERY different from Deaf schools. I think the schools need to take a stronger hand in the student's life AFTER high school as well as in it

@xXDeaf95RockXx Ok what ever you think!! I have been there and seen it! don't get me wrong I've seen alots of them are very low out here, and very very few are very smart..... I haven't seen not one that are not that smart like that.... ok that's your option, and this are my option... people have different option... I went to hearing public school that don't fool around like they did!!!
