this is the before and after images of an urban garden or cottage garden in Kihei Hawaii

this garden is also featuring super foods such as Katook (30% protein), edible cactus, edible hibiscus, aloe vera (good in smoothies), jamaican liliquoi, wheat grass, papaya, banana's, squash, edible and non-edible flowers, herbs like cilantro, rosemary, thyme, sweet basil (fresh pesto), thai basil, onions, garlic, chives, snap peas, green beans, tomatoes, etc. essentially, one can have enough food from a small yard to adequately feed themselves.....for me, i wish green lawns would be replaced by food, non-GMO food. it gives a family a sense of well-being in uncertain times. aloha
