This is a traditional American-style snare drum solo played on a rope drum made by George Carroll. Arranged and published by J. Burns Moore in his book, "The Art of The Snare Drum" in 1937. The name "Half Time" refers to the time signature of 2/4. This solo is composed entirely from standard American drum rudiments as taught during the U.S. Civil War. It was a windy day and the audio dips at a couple of places where wind gusts interfere with the microphone.
