  • If you've got the money dfinitely go for the HIWATT.

  • I have a Hiwatt combo, if you take a listen to my videos. And in already heard Hiwatt heads with matching 4x12's. For the music I play, they perform surprisingly good. I would even say that Hiwatt and Fender have not much in common... But as an experienced player on stage I prefer heads over combos. Now ignorant people with no opinion can give me thumbdowns again. • @doufeel Agreed. Respect the HIWATT!

  • How do you mean beat an ENGL head? Its all a matter of taste, If you look at say, the orange tiny terror. In my opinion your better off getting the combo as the resonance you get through the speaker being attached improves the tone.

And to be honest ENGL are fine if your playing on your own or in a bad with one guitarist, but put pretty much any other amp against it and it will be lost in the mix. and you can stick your behringer/Bugera crap right up your ....
