The British never mention that prior to the Archduque's assassination by Serbian terrorists, the Serbian secret police (the Black Hand) conducted an endless string of terrorist attacks against the Austro-Hungarian empire, for Serbia wanted to build Greater Serbia with areas under Austrian control. The Archduque was a pacifist that worked hard to calm the military and other war parties that wanted to teach Serbia a lesson and put an end to terrorist attacks. This assassination was the last straw.

Now don't read me wrong, I'm not saying their isn't a better way to handle these situations, or that everything America does is acceptable. I am essentially politically left wing and an advocate of peace. However, I don't like looking at things so black and white, it creates hypocrisy and we all know the shit that can lead from that. I see America more in the light that it is well intentioned rather than right. Can you say more of the whole human race?

And even their current ones are problematic to try them on. They do have a reason for their intervention around the globe, just like the British believed they had a reason, or any-other major empire to be honest, and beyond the moral argument, could you imagine how much worse some of these countries would look like without intervention? The only massive problem is the CIA, they are responsible for so many human rights violations.
