Apparently more than half the people don't get that IT'S A JOKE! We're bashing the emo stereotype, not emos.

My first video!!!

This is a music video I made (with the help of some of my friends) of one of my favorite Fall Out Boy songs.

The List:
1. Don't admit to being emo. Don't call the music or style of dress emo. Say "alternative."
2. Cut your wrists. Not enough to actually harm yourself, but just enough to leave good scars.
3. Dye your hair to one of the extremes, i.e. dark or platinum. Extra points for both.
4. Buy every CD by every band in the genre, especially the earlier ones.
5. Be seen at all the right shows. Avoid more popular band's shows like Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, and Dashboard Confessional...Brand New is still okay.
6. Wear lots of eyeliner, capri length tights, colorful shoes (flats mostly), skinny jeans, babydoll dresses.
7. Get facial piercings.
8. Make sure your myspace reflects your misery. (Especially your blogs)
9. Learn to smoke. Then hang around all the hip coffeeshops, chainsmoking, while you and your pretentious friends judge everyone around you.
10. Do Your Part to Save the Scene and Kill Yourself [no more posers]

I loved this video! My favorite was the how there was a last ditch effort made to cut with a butter knife... Lol. And I absolutely love this song too! One of my favorites actually! There was a comment earlier about how people become emo because their lives are falling apart and... blah, blah, blah. I know I'm a year late, but still I don't think people become emo for any other reason than that it's the latest trend. I'm not buying that they became emo because they want to cut or die or whatever.

This is the dumbest video ever. Emo people are just like everyone else. Except that they are often misunderstood. And not all emo people are like that. I fucking hate streotyping. Its the dumbest thing ever. And another thing the main reason why people turn emo is because the hate their life and everyone in it.
