  • Thx 4 amazing lesson. I had chronic pain no relief since '97. Did yoga in pool wi floating Tibetan Singing bowl. Vibration emanates thru water. Dramatic result. Been almost pain free 3 mnths. Wow! I'm trying to get bowl wi same vibration to use in bathtub. I recorded it. See youtube: caringpro. Is it possible to get the same vibration in a smaller bowl? I'll be using bathtub instead of pool. What R the steps to find bowl wi similar vibe? Can U advise? Thx InventingJoy caringpro@gmail.com

  • @caringpro

When I get settled in the new address, I will aim to get some footage of a few of the Temple Bowls I have here up on YouTube. They are very different to the conventional bowls, in that they have to be struck. The high iron Content makes them almost impossible to play them with the leather thrummer

  • i like the frst bow in part one whats that called and were can i find it?

  • All those bowls are antiques, and you can't really just "get them". They are generally sold in Kathmandu by pilgrims to the Bhoudi Stupa, who use these family heirlooms as the way they pay for their journey. New ones are fairly easy to get a hold of. Spiritual Sky on EBay sell quite reasonable ones. Otherwise, the antiques I have here start from $300 and go to $1500. That particular Aum Bowl would sell for $650

  • @numberharmonics are the ones sold by silver sky on ebay antiques? ive bought a few but im no expert.

  • I can't speak for all their products, but from what I have seen they are mostly new bowls.

Some of the new ones are very good, btw. They are made in Bengal by the Rana Family and are still made to traditional standards. There are still some bowls made in Orissa as well

  • Thank youfor this series and I've just obtained a small singing bowl (5 inch) and will be able to benefit from the meditation and healing power of the sound and interaction. Thank you for taking the time and posting!

  • The oooo bowl is the one for me - it's beautiful! Do you teach people how to play these bowls?

  • i got a small tibeten singing bowl its so sweet cant get anything out of it with the leather but with the wood it makes a healy sweet high pitch hmmm that makes me feel so good

  • Cool... Most people get color, but geometric patterns indicate things are working on the level of mind. Usually to rearrange and harmonize. It may pay to look up "logical Fallacies" on the web and check if you are guilty of any! (Creating the balanced mind is an old Pythagorean teaching)
