This is my very first film that I ever shot using 16mm B/W reversal film. The whole thing was a Charlie Chaplin throwback and it was shot at 18 frames per second.
The story is simple. A guy is sitting at a bus stop beside a cute girl. He offers her a piece of gum (which she accepts) and then he drops his piece of gum on the ground. He picks it up and eats it anyways using the "5 second rule" as reasoning. Everybody else at the bus stop, including the girl, nd the other patrons are absolutely disgusted by his actions. Even the bum is laughing at his stupidity. The girl gets up and leaves and his chances with her are about as chewed as the gum in his mouth.
The bum was played by my college roomate, Nick Hines.
