if "i/you" like it or not doesn't really matter...if he has audience to listen to him that means he worked hard musically or connection wise.Good player or not is hard to say in general terms you can say "good" or "not good" for your ears because you can't hear from the others ears and point of view can you?I heard some people say Allan Holdsworth is bad....rather than "i don't like it".So you can see my point.All world's guitarists bow down to Holdsworth and some noob calls him bad :D

Vinnie moore, Yngwie, MaB, paul gilbert, jason becker.
Even though all there sound forms into that classical, metalish, progressive thrash sound, they all have there own signature moves, unique sounds, and creativeness.
They all deserve respect even if you don't like them.
