FL Studio 8 - Nice Pecan Pies (Jazz Shuffle / Electronica / Ambient)

Listen in HQ!!!: add &fmt=18 at the end of my URL!

A song I made in FL Studio 8. I wanted to try something...a bit different! Something not from your usual FL Studio production like trance or techno. So I came up with Jazz. I was about to do Bossa Nova but my mind, I just didn't had any ideas for good melodies and stuff like that. I was in the mood for something spicey! Something with style and a choon that would make me feel that I wore those dark and jazzy prinstripe suits! So I went with a sister genre. Anyways, this choon was inspired by my cat!!! We still had leftover pecan pies left on the counter. One of my two cats, the white one, video 35, Sarah, surprisingly jumped on the counter of our kitchen and started lickin' on the pecan pies!! Mum was all paranoid the mere fact that Sarah is usually the stingy cat in our house: only wanting to eat a certain brand of cat food, enough said! But since the pie was for me, cuz I have like high metabolism which makes my dietary life so great(!), I said to mum, "Meh, it's okay Mom. I mean, that cat doesn't get enough food. Pie is tasty, nutritious, and tasty to the cat's tastebuds!" SHe just looked at me with this huffed look. Then, she understood, after looking at Sarah for a while. Whilst the name of this choon! :) Also, add the fact that I spent about four working days with about one hour to each other day writing this! Not bad. No poizones were used. Close to almost raw audio recordings or just different drum sound things. Oh and pardon my use of language in this video: I got carried away and had a lil too much fun in the middle of the video production! xD

I liked this! I don't know about you guys: what do you think of it? You like it? You loathe it? If so, any particular reason why? :)

THanks for listening! =]

  • This is very relaxing I really like it. Good Job. I like how the jazzy shuffle beat is created very well on the drums and everything else just falls into place. It would be really cool to write a whole arrangement on this with a big band.

  • Oh wow! Thanks for such a BIG compliment! xD I'm very glad you liked it! <3. Are you a drummer or musician yourself? Maybe I may be hasty but you seem to know your words around music- with your name, too! :) lol. Anyways, thanks again, Primedrummer!

  • nice its like something i would hear on food channel, discovery, something about traveling/food/scenery kind of show!

    nice job

  • hehe! =P Thanx!! :D

It's probably a good thing I had this named after pecan pies, then. It's the forces of the pecan pies, I'm tellin' you!

    Tasty track, indeed. :)

Anyways, I'm glad you liked this choon, Ferari! <3

Yeah, heck I would! I'd be up for it....Though, it sounds like a challenge more than a request. :)

IMO, I find trance moozik to take the loooonngest of my time cuz it's so challenging to compose hand-made arpeggiato arps on piano rolls! =O Phew! :)
