@flamevizier Other religions have their few bad apples and I'm not saying that they don't .But these people for the most part go against their religion's teachings. WIth islam it's just opposite. Those killing and destroying on a daily basis are pious and devout and are doing that their religions's pedophile terrorist founder commanded, to kill unbelievers (koran 9:111). You don't see members of other religions kill and destroy over teddy bears, cartoons, etc.

@ranoir i cant tell if that first statement is ment to be sarcastic..anyway as for your three rules, let me elaborate because its very vague. Citizens who were conquered by Muslim nations were told they could keep their faith and live peacefully as long as they pay "jizya". But you have to have certain requirements met, like being a able bodied person and be middle class or higher. why tax the poor? that makes no sense. Also the tax was not nearly as "steep" as wat previous regimes would impose.

Yes, Jews and Christians are "people of the book". According to islamic law they have three choices. 1. Convert to islam 2. Live as second class citizens and pay a steep tax called the jizya 3. Warfare and death. That don't sound like embracing diversity and promoting tolerance to me.

@KrazyKafir dude...The “72 virgins” idea is probably the most overblown idea that people seem to "know" about Islam. It’s turning into a real stereotype. Forget the doctrines of monotheism and tolerance, it seems all people want to hear about is the virgins. There’s a lot more to Paradise than just sex and physical pleasure, you know.

Also, Muslims believe that Jews and Christians are "people of the book" so they dont go to hell.
