I've just upgraded to 7.5-21.5-15 A15 compound Avon slicks as my latest Doune hillclimb vid clip shows, i used to use Avon ACB10's in our road going modified class in Scotland.
Are you restricted to using List 1A tyres?

If i were you i'd swap to something else, they're not a good road tyre so defo not a good choice for a speed event tyre.

Yokohama A539s. It's better sorted now since I upgraded to Bilstein sprintline dampers...
