Raise Me The Money: Crowdfunding, Digital Distribution & Sponsorship for filmmakers

There's never going to be enough money in the budget to make the film that you really want, but there are opportunities out there. 'Raise me the money' brought together some of the industry's most creative thinkers to discuss innovative new ways to finance your project, build awareness, connect with your audience and break into new markets. This highlights video features Sarah Mosses, Channel 4 BRITDOC Foundation, Ramón Calderón, Riot Cinema Collective, (The Cosmonaut)and David Nicolas Wilkinson, Guerilla Films.

This highlights video was recorded at 'Show Me The Money', an event exploring new financing and production strategies, which took place in Leeds on 17th February. The conference formed part of the Triangle development programme aimed at connecting and supporting filmmakers across the North, an initiative of Screen Yorkshire, Vision + Media and Northern Film & Media, supported by Skillset's Film Skills Fund.
