  • my grandma used to make me pick her green beans when i was really little. They tasted soooo sooo bad lol. I'm sure your are way better! :)

  • Thanks for the vote of confidence on the taste. Tim would tell you the only way he likes string beans is if they are cooked for about a month and seasoned with everything you can find to hid the original flavor. lol

I sure wish you were here to try some. We are still picking them! lol

  • Looks good to me.

  • Thank You Huey your very kind, and generous with your stars. LoL not sure this deserves 5 but thank you just the same.

  • thanks for the upload grandpa

  • What kind of beans are those? I know there's some that grow in vines but the ones you have don't?

  • I've never seen them growing. Usually buying them in a can or frozen, haha.

Now I am getting hungry for some princess beans ;o)

The tomato plants are really big. I tried it once with tomotos on my balcony but I forgot to water them in summer. So you can guess what happened to them ;o)

Good to see that weed actually also have a sense.

  • Thanks Andy. The garden is almost gone now. While most folks have a garden that lasts all summer, here in Florida the sun and heat pretty much kill vegetable plants. A few can survive. Okra is one, sweet potatoes is another. Some variety of beans can be grown but for the most part this becomes our winter and we let the garden rest till around September and then we can grow things again.

  • That's a very healthy garden...

  • lol, well thats the only way that my grandma's beans would taste good -_-

only it would be a few years of cooking and seasoning.

  • Thank you my friend. I hope some of the sunshine in my videos manages to fall on your life as well.

  • I'll have to show you a picture of them. They are also called summer squash because they rippen this time of year not in the fall like pumkins and that kind of squash.
