The sting reflex, post mortem.
The victim of a fight against ocevil under the microscope. The video was taken with an IXUS 75 and an old russian stereo microscope. It is amazing how long the sting reflex last.

Okay.. question.. if the critter is dead why is the stinger still poking out? .. To be honest I don't know a whole lot about bees/wasps..etc.. Knowing the thing is dead and seeing that stinger bob in and out is kinda creepy..
