Zakk Wylde re-invented the pentatonic scale. Unlike the many guitar players before him (yes even some of the greats) that were it`s slave, he is it`s master.

Solos in Queen Of Sorrow, Layne, Blackened Waters, Bridge To Cross... I prefer them to this, those have more soul IMHO...

Everyone seems to keep comparing zakk with other guitarist, which I can understand. But the fact is, he has his own style, as do other guitarist. His awesome hands down. If anyone of you is as good as he is, step up. If not, shut the hell up.

True, technology will make you sound better. But if they both only had an acoustic guitar with no amp, I think Zakk would have him beat.
