  • @mirabileamavi Yes, objectively, what Hitler did was wrong. But to himself, he probably thought that it was an okay thing to do. People will believe anything that they want to.

  • @riversalmond your individual relativistic argument doesn't ground the Holocaust in any sort of sound moral foundation. Your statement "to himself, he probably thought it was an okay thing to do" doesn't address mirabileamavi's point at all. As good philosophers we aren't concerned whether or not "people will believe anything that they want" Instead, we are focused on unearthing the truth of the matter (like genocide) and making sense of strange things b/c the unexamined life is worth living
