Jeez, I hope Kelly is more exciting in her next fight...the constant wrapping up and clenching nearly put me to sleep.  I can see how she lost this to a decision.

I found the extensive amount of clinching rather boring as well. Julie definitely deserved to win because whenever they were not in a clinch, Julie seemed to be winning with the kicks, punches, and ground game. Even when Kobold was on top, she couldn't do much damage because of Kedzie's awesome techniques!

prety boring fight.. kobold needs to work on getting her opponents to the ground where she is most effective on both her back and on top.

kedzie trains with holly holm. she should learn more boxing technique to punch the shit out of her opponents as they try to close in for the clinch. Also better footwork around the ring to keep the distance allowing better opportunity to land more shots. I dont know maybe this is why i'm a boxing fan and not so much MMA.

Most people who have trained in MMA will tell you it was actually a good technical fight. Unfortunately most everyday people are too used to bruce lee movies and do not know the difference.

Yep, she went into the Carano fight with exactly the same game plan as here. She looked horrible with the boring clinching, constant work for a take down that wasn't happening, and really sh**ty stand up. I hope we don't see any more of her fights until she gets her act together. That extensive record doesn't mean anything after seeing her in the ring. She fights like a bullish amateur, enough said.

Agreed, just because you're a ground figher doesn't mean you have forever to try and pull the opponent down. Try it, and if it doesn't work, move on to something else. The ref really should have stepped in more than he did.
