  • One of my favorite slow movements in the chamber literature. Great job! The first time I ever heard this piece, I was moved to tears. I had just read an account of Schumann's last few months of life, and the thought that a man who could write such beautiful, heartfelt music would die such a lonely and tragic death was heartrending to me.
